FReD x CityU: Drink FReDsponsibly 2018/2019

The Hong Kong Forum for Responsible Drinking (FReD), for the sixth consecutive year, partnered with City University of Hong Kong (CityU), to engage their students to plan and drive a responsible drinking campaign. The student team carried out on-campus campaigns at the City University of Hong Kong (CityU) and Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSUHK) and the campaigns reached 200 students. The team gathered their thoughts on what it meant to be responsible when drinking, and shared information about FReD and resources to encourage safe alcohol consumption.

To reiterate that there was no known safe amount of alcohol use during pregnancy or while trying to conceive, the team contacted universities, yoga centers and shopping malls and successfully distributed 520 leaflets to the relevant target audience in key locations in the city including Hong Kong Baptist Hospital, Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU), The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU), Tung Wah College, Anahata Yoya and Langham Place.
