FReD x CityU: Drink FReDsponsibly 2022/2023

The Hong Kong Forum for Responsible Drinking (FReD) partnered with the students at the City University of Hong Kong (CityU) to organize a series of activities to promote responsible drinking.

To engage with the community about the topic of responsible drinking, the student team conducted a street interview in December 2022 to ask people whether they knew what it meant by drinking responsibly. The video featuring interviewees' thoughts on anti-binge drinking was published on FReD's social media platforms. In addition, a game booth was organized by the student team on campus at CityU on 15th and 16th March 2023 to educate the participants about anti-drink driving and anti-pregnancy drinking. More than 100 participants visited the booth and nearly 80 of them completed the online responsible serving course and got certified. The student team also designed two souvenirs, a tote bag and a clear document folder, with the messages "don't drink and drive" and "drink responsibly" printed on them respectively. After playing the games at the booth, visitors would be able to collect one of these souvenirs as a warm reminder in the future.

The student team produced three scenario based videos as well to promote anti-binge drinking, anti-drink driving and anti-pregnancy drinking. Kindly click the links below and enjoy the videos on Youtube.
