FReD x CityU: Drink FReDsponsibly 2020/2021

The Hong Kong Forum for Responsible Drinking (FReD) partnered with City University of Hong Kong (CityU) to engage their students to drive a responsible drinking campaign.

To engage the community with the topic of responsible drinking, the student team conducted a street interview in December 2020, asking people whether they knew what it meant by drinking responsibly. The video featuring what the interviewees thought about anti-binge drinking was released on FReD’s various social media platforms. Please access the link and enjoy the interview on Youtube: https://youtu.be/aHpYHTTq9ec

A campus booth was also organised by the student team at the City University of Hong Kong to educate other students about anti-binge drinking and anti-pregnancy drinking from March 8 to 13, 2021. With the support of the mascots Fred and Teddy, 100 students learned how to be a responsible drinker and received branded souvenirs as friendly reminders.
